In February 2006 I was contacted by
McKinnon and Saunders from Manchester UK
whether I could supply a jumper to be worn by Max
which would be used in a Animated feature length
Cinema Film.

Although slightly bigger than my normal 1/12 scale, size 20 UK needles
and a combination of Venne Colcoton threads were used to produce
the proto-type jumper.
It took 7 months to knit the jumpers required during
which time we not only visited McKinnon and Saunders
to see how the puppets were constructed but also the
Film Studios in Switzerland where the film was made.
After a wait of two years the film produced by the brothers Guillaume
and directed by Robert Boner will now be released on the continent on
February 13th 2008. A version in English should follow in the same year.
